Our history

CasAlice was born in Naples in 2015, introducing a smart formula for contemporary hospitality.

After long searches, Alice and Giancarlo found what they thought would be the perfect apartment for their project: in a very central position, but quiet and collected enough to guarantee a night's rest. In a modern building with lift and a 24h concierge to manage night arrivals and within walking distance of all the service of Chiaia, the parlor of Naples. They redecorated the apartment, both because modern systems guarantee continuous hot water and stronger internet connection and because the large windows contribute to lighting and thermal insulation, thus contributing to their guests’ comfort. They entrusted the design to an architect, who defined both the best layout for the spaces, also in compliance with the legislation in force, the mix of colors and the contemporary classic furnishings that characterizes the accommodations.

The experiment was successful and the B&B was hugely appreciated, to the point that in 2017 the opened another guest house, the Mini Apartments of Piazza Vittoria 7, just a few steps away from Lungomare Caracciolo. The challenge was to stay in the neighborhood, appreciated by all visitors for its services and proximity to points of interest, but exploring another aspect: the historic building, in a very elegant context. Here the renovation has left intact the historic parquet and has enhanced the thick walls with modern fixtures, which ensure thermal and acoustic insulation. The view is unprecedented: a large internal garden, closed to the public, belonging to the historic Carabinieri barracks in via Morelli. The apartments, being on the second floor without lift, are dedicated to a young audience, families of three, couples or those visiting Naples on business.

CasAlice vision of hospitality is based on Neapolitan friendliness combined with discretion.

To the guests who request it, we happily offer assistance with itineraries and other services, but those who wish to take refuge in their own space are free to do so. Given the excellent welcome from the guests of the Mini Apartments in Piazza Vittoria, in 2021 Giancarlo e Alice decided to launch their formula in the heart of the historic center of Rome, in via di Sant’Andrea delle Fratte 31: they have completely renovated two adjacent two- room apartments, on the first floor of an eighteenth-century palace, with luxury finishes and contemporary classic furniture.
